Donna Andrews, 81, of Philipsburg died Monday, April 20, 2015 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born July 31, 1933 in Morrisdale, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Madeline Emigh Heathcote.
Mrs. Andrews was a member of the Morrisdale United Methodist Church.
She was the secretary for West Branch Area Elementary, Allport, until her retirement. She was a graduate of the Morris Township High School.
She married James Andrews on Jan. 18, 1957 at the Morrisdale United Methodist Church. He preceded her in death on Jan. 25, 1996.
She is survived by a son, Gregory Andrews and his wife, Dorothy and a granddaughter, Jordyn Andrews, all of Morrisdale.
Mrs. Andrews was the last member of her generation. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Neil Heathcote.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Strange & Weaver Funeral Home, Morrisdale, with the Pastor Tina Hawkins officiating. Burial will be in the Grandview Cemetery, Morrisdale.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
