CLEARFIELD – Members and guests of the Clearfield Volunteer Fire Department remembered the past year and celebrated the 125th anniversary during their annual banquet Saturday.
A highlight video was shown from fire calls over the past year. Awards were given for various merits, such as number of calls responded to, years of service and rookie of the year, etc.
Coins were awarded to recognize each member of the department. Also, the family of fallen teen firefighter Jeffrey Scott Buck Jr. was awarded a coin.
Those in attendance also remembered six members whom died during the past year. Those members were: Theodore Graham, Francis McDermott, Andrew Duga, Donald Mann, Larry Kelly, Charles Ross and Donald Powell II.
