Janet June McGirk, 83, of Osceola Mills died Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Windy Hill Village in Philipsburg.

Born June 21, 1931 in Altoona, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Jr. and Teresa (Little) Dively.

She married her first husband, Warren Stout, on Dec. 31, 1949 in Winchester, Va. He preceded her in death on May 19, 1979.

She married her second husband, John W. “Jack” McGirk, on Aug., 27, 1982 in Osceola Mills. He preceded her in death on March 21, 2012.

She is survived by her companion, Anthony “Tony” Kasper.

Mrs. McGirk was a member of the Osceola Mills United Methodist Church. She had also attended the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, where she formerly sang in the choir.

She was a homemaker. She enjoyed holidays and picnics with her family. She hosted a Fourth of July picnic and family reunions at her home for 30 years.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Marlene Dively.

Along with her companion, Mrs. McGirk is survived by a daughter, Sharon Ann Stout of Sandy Ridge and two sons, Raymond Stout and his wife, Mary Ann of Philipsburg and Randy Stout Sr. and his wife, Khandaa of Franklin.

She is also survived by a brother, Benjamin F. Dively III of Water Street; eight grandchildren, Yolanda Harris and her husband, Wes, Lauren Stout, Warren Stout and his wife, Kristel, Randy Stout Jr. and his wife, Jessica, Clinton Stout, Logan Stout Claire Stout and Subedei Stout; and five great-grandchildren, Jake Stout, Camilla Stout, Sophia Stout, Brooke Stout and Piper Harris; and a former daughter-in-law, Teresa Stout.

At the request of Mrs. McGirk, there will be no viewing or funeral service.  Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
