The famed van that carried Hillary Clinton from her Chappaqua, New York, home across the state of Iowa appears to have momentarily paused in a spot reserved for the handicapped along the way.
While in Council Bluffs to meet privately with Iowa Democratic leaders on Thursday, Clinton left a cafe where she greeted well-wishers while pacing slowly toward what her campaign has christened her “Scooby Doo” van. According to video from local TV station KETV, that vehicle appears to have been parked in a handicapped spot.
Unless the van happened to have a permit for handicapped-spot parking, that’s an offense worthy of a $200 fine, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation.
