DUBOIS – District Judge Patrick Ford of DuBois presided over preliminary hearings April 10.
The following defendants have entered guilty pleas.
- William John Myers, 37, Mill Hall, pleaded guilty to writing bad checks. Myers was ordered to pay $881 in fines, costs and restitution.
- Victoria Lynn Mazzaferro, 54, St. Marys, pleaded guilty to harassment. Mazzaferro was ordered to pay $572.50 in fines and costs and to serve one year on probation.
The proceedings against the following defendant have been continued.
- Jason Douglas Ingram, 38, Penfield, is charged by the DuBois City police with driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, accidents involving damage to attended vehicles or property, driving without a license, careless driving, and two summary traffic charges. A hearing is scheduled for May 17.
The following defendants have waived their rights to a preliminary hearing. Their cases will be sent to the Clearfield County Court of Common Pleas for further disposition.
- Bridget L. Reilly, 47, DuBois, is charged by the DuBois City police with DUI and careless driving. Bail was set at $1,000 unsecured.
- Daniel Joseph Donnelly, 31, DuBois, is charged by the Sandy Township police with retail theft. Bail was set at $1,000 unsecured.
- Manuel Willis Betancourt, 43, Penfield, is charted by the DuBois-based state police with fraud, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving a vehicle without a valid inspection, unauthorized use of a certificate of inspection, knowingly displaying a fictitious or stolen certificate of inspection and operating a vehicle without the required financial responsibility. Bail was set at $1,000 unsecured.
- Cody Taylor Smith, 21, Reynoldsville, is charged by the DuBois City police with DUI, careless driving and two summary traffic charges. Bail was set at $1,000 unsecured.
- Chad Alan Berquist, 25, DuBois, is charged by the Sandy Township police with DUI and two summary traffic charges. Bail was set at $1,000 unsecured.
- Dwight D. Woodyard, 30, Crown City, Ohio, is charged by the Sandy Township police with retail theft, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $25,000 unsecured.
- Scotty Blaine Barton, 27, Rockton, is charged by the DuBois City police with DUI, careless driving and two summary traffic charges. Bail was set at $1,000 unsecured.
- Michael Jeffery Kurtz, 51, Anita, is charged by the Sandy Township police with DUI and one summary traffic charge. Bail was set at $1,000 unsecured.
- Amber Dorene Owens, 33, DuBois, is charged by the Sandy Township police with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. An additional count of possession of a controlled substance was withdrawn. Bail was set at $1,000 unsecured.
- Robert Joseph Styk, 36, DuBois, is charged by the Sandy Township police with DUI, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $1,000 unsecured.
- Benjamin D. McConnaughey, 24, Punxsutawney, is charged by the DuBois City police with DUI and careless driving. Bail was set at $1,000 unsecured.
- David B. McMurray, 44, Sykesville, is charged by the Sandy Township police with burglary and criminal trespass. Bail was set at $50,000 unsecured.
