Jeb Bush is now the grandfather to four children.
His oldest son, Texas Land Commissioner George P. Bush, announced the birth of his second child — John William Bush, or “Jack” — Monday afternoon on Twitter.
The former Florida governor responded in a tweet of his own, saying: “Proud granddad. Looking good Jack!”
It’s the fourth grandchild for Jeb Bush, and it comes as he prepares to launch a campaign for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination.
Bush isn’t the only presidential contender to recently welcome a new grandchild. Democrat Hillary Clinton became a grandmother when her daughter Chelsea had her first child, Charlotte, last year.
