CLEARFIELD – District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr. has announced Clearfield County’s Fugitive of the Week for the week of April 13.
Shaw identified the fugitive as Kyle Lee Deluccia, 26, of Park Avenue, Clearfield. Deluccia is wanted for failure to appear at a Criminal Call on March 19.
On April 7, 2014, Trooper Dennis Peters of the Pennsylvania State Police, Clearfield barracks, filed a criminal complaint against Deluccia. He charged Deluccia with driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substance, M; driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked, S; careless driving, S; and operation of vehicle without official certificate of inspection, S.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, on March 10, 2014, state police were dispatched to the area of Third and Lynn streets, Bigler Township, for the transport of a motorist who had an active warrant. Upon making contact with the operator of the vehicle, Peters detected signs of impairment. Deluccia was then transported to the Clearfield Penn Highlands Hospital for blood testing.
A preliminary hearing was scheduled for May 7, 2014, at which time all charges were held to court. On March 19, Deluccia failed to appear at Criminal Call, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Deluccia is described as a Caucasian male who stands 5 feet, 10 inches tall. He has brown hair and blue eyes.
