CLEARFIELD – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation advises drivers that the traffic lights at the intersection of Market and Second streets, downtown Clearfield, are temporarily disabled due to a tractor-trailer disconnecting one of the light poles.
Emergency personnel will direct traffic from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. today and 7 a.m. – 9 a.m. Friday. When traffic is not being directed the traffic patterns on Second Street will be controlled by a yellow flashing light. Traffic patterns on East Market Street going westbound will be controlled by a red flashing light. Traffic patterns on West Market Street going eastbound will be controlled by a stop sign.
PennDOT advises drivers to be prepared for stopped or slowed traffic, along with travel delays.
A message board will be placed on South Second Street alerting drivers to the stopped or slowed traffic.
