Christine J. Caltabach, 60, of Philipsburg and formerly of Johnstown, died Sunday, April 5, 2015 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
Born Dec. 13, 1954 in Johnstown, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth C. and M. Virginia (Helsel) Caltabach.
She was a graduate of Richland Township High School and of the University of Pittsburgh Johnstown.
She worked in home health care in the Philipsburg area. She was previously employed with Berkebile Construction, Johnstown.
She was a member of the St. Benedict Catholic Church, Johnstown. She was an avid reader and enjoyed learning, writing and art.
She is survived by a sister, Kathy Erb and her husband, Gary of Johnstown and her cat, “Sweet Pea.”
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Private services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to a local humane society.
