CLEARFIELD – District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr. has announced Clearfield County’s Fugitive of the Week for the week of April 6.
Shaw identified the fugitive as Jamie Danielle Williams, 29, of Jury Road, Bigler. Williams is wanted for failure to appear at a Criminal Call on Jan. 22.
On July 22, 2014, Trooper Joshua Janosko of the Pennsylvania State Police, Clearfield Barracks, filed a criminal complaint against Williams. He charged Williams with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, on July 9, 2014, state police were dispatched to a local business for an alleged theft. Upon investigation it was found that Williams, an employee of the business, entered her Pennsylvania EBT Access Card information into an electronic device and refunded cash to her card on two, separate occasions for approximately $90.55.
A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Aug. 13, 2014, at which time all charges were held to court. On Jan. 22, Williams failed to appear at Criminal Call and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
Williams is described as a Caucasian female who stands 5 feet, 4 inches tall. She has brown hair and eyes.
Anyone with knowledge of Williams’ location is asked to call Clearfield County Crime Stoppers at 800-376-4700. All calls to Crime Stoppers are confidential.
