STATE COLLEGE – Work to improve various routes in Centre and Clinton counties will resume on Monday, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
Crews will be working to extend the useful life of the pavement and improve the ride quality of the roadway surface. Work will include milling, scratch and resurfacing.
Drivers should expect short travel delays as flaggers enforce alternating traffic patterns through the work zones. Work will take place during daylight hours.
Centre County work includes the following roads:
- Route 45 west of Woodward to the Union County line
- Route 150 from Howard to Beech Creek
- Route 192 from Stover Gap Road to the Union County line
Clinton County work includes:
- Route 120 from McCloskey Run into Bald Eagle Township
This project began in August of 2014 and is part of a $4.9 million contract to improve the road surface of more than 24 miles on nine routes in Centre and Clinton counties. Glenn O. Hawbaker Inc. of State College is the contractor on this project, which is expected to finish by early November.
