Friday Night Live
Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre
Leroy, Raindrop and The Drummer will be the featured act for Friday Night Live on April 3 at the Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre.
There will also be a special interpretative painting demonstration by Steve to celebrate Easter weekend. Admission is $4. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Easter Egg Hunt
Fun Central
An Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 4 at Fun Central, Clearfield. There will be special Easter prizes, ticket/game card giveaways, lots of candy and more than 13,000 eggs. Improv Comedy Workshop
Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre
Friday Night Live will sponsor an “Improv Comedy Workshop” from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. April 4 at the Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre in downtown Clearfield.
It will feature Adam Litz, a Minneapolis-based improviser/comedian, who has been performing and teaching for the past 15 years.
Litz performs with the comedy team, Trust Pit, and on Saturday nights with Jesters Comedy Improv. His critically-acclaimed duo, Minnesota Snow Job, has performed at festivals all over the country.
Originally from Spring Mills, Litz began his performing career after moving to Rochester, NY, where he was one of the founding members of the GEVA Theatre Center’s improv initiative. He has taught classes for business professionals, teens, college students and experienced performers.
Pre-registration is required for the workshop and is limited to 20 people. The cost is $50 per person and is payable to the CAST. To participate in the workshop, persons must be 18 years of age or older.
The four-hour workshop will cover topics, such as comedic timing, material boundaries, knowing your audience, improv fundamentals, stage presence, dealing with stage fright, public speaking and more.

Bennetts Valley Barstool Open
The first-ever Bennetts Valley Barstool Open will be held from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. April 4. The cost to enter this mini-golf tournament is $15 per person or $60 per team.
Registration forms are available at the Medix Hotel, Force Hotel, Big Trout, Wapiti Woods, Hideout, White Horse, Jeep Inn, Weedville Hotel, Medix Lodges, Elk Country Store, L&L Elk Wilds, Classic Keystone, Benezette Hotel, Benezette Wines, Old Bull Café, Grants Pass and Donell’s Gift Shop.
Prizes will be awarded for lowest individual score, lowest team score, highest individual score, highest team score, best dressed team and best team name.
All proceeds will be donated to the Bennetts Valley PTO-Outdoor Classroom.

DuBois City Park
The DuBois Area Jaycees will host their annual Easter Egg Hunt at the DuBois City Park on Saturday, April 4. Registration will start at 11 a.m.; the event will start at 12 p.m. The age groups include: 0-2 years; 3-6 years and 7-10 years. The DuBois City Park is located off of Parkway Drive in DuBois.

The Liddle Gallery
The Liddle Gallery will host a two-hour acrylic class, starting at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 4. The instructor will be Enola McClincey, who has worked extensively in oil, acrylic, watercolor and ink. She also has extensive experience in teaching classes for children and adults. McClincey is an award-winning artist in shows across Pennsylvania; she is a member of the Winkler Gallery, DuBois, and The Liddle Gallery, Clearfield.
