CCSU police search for man ‘behaving inappropriately’ in women’s bathrooms

NEW BRITAIN, CT (WFSB) — Police are searching for a former student who was seen loitering and “behaving inappropriately” in women’s bathrooms on Central Connecticut State University campus.

Investigators said 27-year-old Louis Card was previously banned from the CCSU campus. He had also been served a persona non grata.

“What is he doing back here? What are his intentions?” Jess Halas said

Police don’t think Card’s intentions are noble. Officials won’t say why he was previously banned from campus and students are worried that Card may use his CCSU knowledge against them.

“It’s easy to get into the buildings at anytime, so the idea that you could just walk in at any moment and just be in the bathroom is unsettling,” freshman Christine Dennehy said.

Students said they’ll be changing their habits on campus from now on.

“Definitely stay in groups, even when I go to class now I’ll ask one of my friends to come with me or whatever,” Dennehy said.

Card is 5’7″ and weighs about 140 pounds with hazel and brown eyes.

“Be aware of your surroundings. Keep your eyes open for anything.” freshman Alexis Sullivan said.

Anyone with any information about Card is asked to call police at 860-832-2375.
