State Police Investigate Bomb Threat at Philipsburg-Osceola High School

PHILIPSBURG – The investigation is continuing into a bomb threat that was discovered in a restroom Friday morning at the Philipsburg-Osceola High School.

According to state police at Philipsburg, school officials obtained information that a 14-year-old male juvenile had allegedly communicated a bomb threat via a handwritten note. Authorities didn’t need to evacuate students and staff from the school because the note was discovered in a timely manner.

Juvenile charges are forthcoming pending the completion of the investigation, state police said.
