CLEARFIELD – The search continued Sunday morning for a missing 74-year-old Clearfield man, according to a spokesperson with Clearfield County 911.

Former Pharmacy Employee Accused of Stealing Pills

DUBOIS –A former employee is accused of stealing medication from a pharmacy.

According to an affidavit of probable cause, filed with District Judge Patrick Ford’s office Feb. 27, Chalcie Jo Delaney, 27, 407 Chestnut Ave., DuBois, is charged by the Sandy Township police with two counts each of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled substance.

Son Accused of Stealing from Hospitalized Father

DUBOIS – A son is accused of stealing money from his hospitalized father.

According to an affidavit of probable cause filed with District Judge Patrick Ford’s office, Timothy W. Mayes Jr., 50, 1856 Continental Dr., Rockton, is charged by the DuBois-based state police with theft by unlawful taking or disposition and receiving stolen property.

LT Supers Approve Zoning Conditional Use

CLEARFIELD – After a public hearing, the Lawrence Township Supervisors approved a zoning conditional use for timbering in a Residential Agriculture District on property owned by Chris and Beth Shaffer on Old Penfield Road. The access road to the property is U.S. Route 322.

Penfield Man Accused of Driving Under the Influence of Narcotics

DUBOIS – A hit-and-run accident has resulted in charges against a Penfield man.

Hearing Continued in Ware’s Drug Case

CLEARFIELD – The preliminary hearing was continued until April 1 for a 64-year-old drug suspect, Luther L. Ware Jr., of Bronx, NY, who had new charges filed against him last week by the state Attorney General’s office.

CLEARFIELD – A jury deliberated for approximately 25 minutes Thursday afternoon before finding a 52-year-old DuBois man guilty of selling Percocet and Ritalin pills to a confidential informant from his Tozier Avenue apartment in September of 2013.
