First on CNN: Jeb Bush to attend super PAC event in D.C.

Jeb Bush will travel to Washington, D.C. at the end of April to help raise money for his super PAC, according to an invitation obtained by CNN.

The event, hosted by the Right to Rise Super PAC and scheduled for the morning of April 30 at an undisclosed address in Washington, is described as a “coffee & discussion” featuring Bush as the guest.

The invitation asks supporters to contribute $5,000 or raise $10,000 to become a member of the host committee. Other attendees are asked to give $1,000. The invitation states that an address for the gathering will be provided upon RSVP.

The former Florida governor, widely expected to formally launch his presidential campaign in the coming weeks, has been on a fundraising tear. He has kept a robust schedule, soliciting funds from deep-pocketed donors in places such as Palm Beach and New York City.

Bush is set to make an appearance at a Right to Rise gathering scheduled for April 26-27 in Miami.

“We hope you can join us for policy, political and finance briefings with the governor and our team,” reads a separate invitation for the two-day event, also obtained by CNN.
