Senior Carolyn Fittin (Sea Girt, N.J.) led Penn State with a ninth-place finish in school-record time in the 50 freestyle, while the 200 free relay team broke its own school record to place 12th on the first day of competition at the NCAA Women’s Swimming Championships Thursday at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
