Isabel B. Rougeux, 94, of Huntersville, NC and formerly of Clearfield, died Monday, March 9, 2015 at Huntersville Oaks, Huntersville, NC.

She was born Feb. 17, 1921 in Frenchville, the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth (Gormont) Billotte.

Ms. Rougeux retired from Leitzinger’s Department store after 30 years of service. Earlier in life with her husband, she owned and operated the Spotlight Drive In Restaurant on the Clearfield-Curwensville Highway.

She was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield.

Ms. Rougeux is survived by two children, Janice Pastorek and her husband, John of Wilmington, NC and Regis S. Rougeux and his wife, Catherine of Altoona.

She is survived by five grandchildren, Danyll Rougeux, Lance Rougeux and his wife, Martha, Debra Bishop and her husband, James, Denise Cook and her husband, Randy and Dana Hoban and her husband, Greg; five great-grandchildren, Marissa Bishop, Ryan Bishop, Joseph Bishop, Rachel Cook and Samantha Cook; “her boys,” Matthew and Phillip Rowles; and several great-nieces and nephews.

She was the last member of her generation. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edgar E. Rougeux, whom she married on May 16, 1942 and whom died Feb. 17, 2000; a great-granddaughter, Grace Helena Rougeux; and two brothers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield, with Celebrant Father John Miller III officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Church Cemetery, Frenchville.

Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday at Bennett & Houser Funeral Home Inc., Clearfield.
