CNB Donates to Veterans Honor Roll Wall Project

CLEARFIELD – Brian Wingard (right), executive vice president and chief financial officer of CNB Bank, recently presented a check to John Rowles (left), commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1785, and Betina Nicklas (center), commander of American Legion Post 6.

The funds donated by CNB will be used toward Project Wall, a joint effort by the American Legion Post 6, Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter No. 974 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1785 to help construct a new Veterans Honor Roll wall.

This wall will replace the current wall, which has been standing since 1966, but no longer has room to adequately immortalize the young men and women enlisting in the military and serving in future wars.
