Mark L. Noble Sr., 79, DuBois died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born Oct. 8, 1935, he was the son of the late Charles and Agnes (Solkolwski) Noble.
On Feb. 9, 1963, he married Shirley L. (Lyons) Noble. She survives.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
He worked as a driller for the Minns Coal Company. Prior to that, he worked for Forsyth Drilling Company.
He enjoyed hunting and was an avid fisherman. He especially enjoyed being with his grandchildren.
He is survived by two daughters, Brenda L. Pyne and her husband, James of Kersey and Debra L. Wilkerson of Mesa, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Mark L. Noble Jr.; a daughter, Cheryl Eifort; a sister, Kathleen McGranor; and a grandson, Christian J. Wilkerson.
Friends will be received from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Kevin Bockus.
Burial will be in Lakelawn Memorial Park.
