PHILIPSBURG – State police at Philipsburg have reported that Christopher J. Handte, 25, (address not given), has been accused of theft after an incident Feb. 14.
According to state police, Handte and the alleged victim were hanging out when he sold her a Play Station 3 for $60. A couple days later, he told the alleged victim he needed the Play Station 3 back because it was stolen.
Handte failed to return the $60, which was paid to him for the Play Station 3, to the alleged victim. Later the alleged victim discovered that $150 was missing from her purse. Handte admitted to the alleged victim that he took the money, state police said.
