Tim Tekely Named PennDOT Highway Maintenance Manager for Clearfield Co.

CLEARFIELD – PennDOT has named Tim Tekely as Highway Maintenance Manager for Clearfield County, according to PennDOT District 2 Executive Kevin Kline.

“Tim has detailed knowledge of Clearfield County and brings fifteen years of maintenance experience with him as he assumes his new responsibilities,” Kline said. “Tim has long been a valuable employee to Clearfield County and we believe his leadership will benefit our customers throughout the county.”

In his new position, Tekely will oversee the day-to-day maintenance efforts of 126 employees. Clearfield County maintains more than 807 miles of state-owned roadway and 406 state-owned bridges.

Tekely is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in operations management. He began permanent employment with PennDOT in 2000 as a Highway Foreman 2. He has served as an assistant highway maintenance manager in Clearfield County since 2007. He officially assumed his new duties Feb. 7.

Tekely is a life-long resident of the Clearfield area and resides currently in Houtzdale with his family.
