Nashville, TN (WSMV) — Speakeasy Spirits Distillery in west Nashville opened the first dedicated vodka still in Tennessee.
Speakeasy Spirits president and co-founder Jeff Pennington said it’s time for Nashville to get into the vodka business.
“We’re known for whiskey, plenty of moonshine,” Pennington said. “American vodka is really hot, so we need Nashville vodka too.”
Speakeasy Spirits’ first batch of vodka will be available for tasting in April.
