Ralph S. (Piney) Winters, 69, of Sandy Ridge died Friday, Feb. 6, 2015 at his home.
Born July 2, 1945 in Osceola Mills, he was the son of Dorothy I. (Lansberry) Winters of Osceola Mills and the late Ralph C. Winters.
He married Marjorie L. (Miller) Winters on Jan. 4, 1974 in Osceola Mill. She survives at home.
Mr. Winters was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a retired self-employed mechanic.
In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by a son, Brian G. Winters and his companion, Jessica Yeager of Philipsburg; a brother, Gerald R. Winters and his wife, Donna of Philipsburg; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, with Pastor Jennifer C. Heikes officiating. Burial will be at the Centre Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. Friday until the time of the memorial service.
Military honors will be accorded by the Osceola Mills Honor Guard.
