Mona J. Kephart, 75, of Woodland died Monday, Feb. 2, 2015 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
She was born Feb. 17, 1939 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Walter Theodore Lee and Martha (Gisewhite) Wright.
Mrs. Kephart was employed as a security guard. Prior to that, she worked in various local factories.
She was a member of the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging and the AARP. She enjoyed crocheting crosses and giving them as gifts.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse, Duane H. ‘Keppy’ Kephart on Aug. 27, 2007 and whom she wed Aug. 4, 1973 in Woodland.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Duane Kephart Jr. and a brother, Walter Wright.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield, with the Rev. Brenda Libreatori officiating. Burial will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
