AUSTIN – Experience the fun and excitement of cross-country skiing and snowshoeing during the free Winter Sports Demo Day at Sinnemahoning State Park.
On Feb. 7 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Country Squirrel Outfitters of Ridgway will have a variety of cross country skis and snowshoes available for use. Experts will provide assistance and basic instruction throughout the day.
This free program will be held at the Park Office and Wildlife Center at Sinnemahoning State Park. All participants will have an opportunity to try out different types of equipment and receive expert advice on selecting the proper gear to match your height, weight, experience level and terrain challenges.
All participants should be prepared for outdoor activity. Please dress for the weather, wearing layers of moisture-wicking fabrics. Waterproof shoes or boots, plus rain-pants, are strongly recommended.
