HASTINGS – Brought about by changes to the legislative district he represents, State Rep. Tommy Sankey (R-Cambria/Clearfield) has opened a new district office in Cambria County.
The office is located in Suite A1 at 264 Haida Ave., Hastings. It will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
“After representing only Clearfield County residents in my first term, the 73rd District, which I now represent, includes the boroughs of Hastings, Nanty Glo, Northern Cambria and Vintondale and the townships of Barr, Blacklick, Susquehanna and West Carroll,” Sankey said.
“This office will serve the residents of those Cambria County municipalities by answering their state government questions and providing the many legislative services that are available to them.”
Sankey’s district office offers assistance with many state-related functions, such as birth and death certificates and PACE and PACENET applications for seniors. Property Tax/Rent Rebate forms for tax year 2014 will be available in mid-February, and his staff will assist in filling out those forms at no cost.
“I will also be hosting an open house in the office on March 5, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.,” added Sankey. “I hope our new neighbors will stop by, say hello and enjoy some light refreshments.”
The phone number for the new district office, which is located in the Hastings Area Industrial Development Complex, is 814-247-6210. Sankey also maintains offices in the Clearfield County municipalities of Clearfield and Osceola Mills.
During his second term in office, Sankey has been appointed to serve on the Environmental Resources and Energy, Finance, Local Government and State Government committees. He also maintains a Web site, www.RepSankey.com, and a Facebook page, www.facebook.com/RepSankey.
