State Police Investigating Burglary at Conklin’s Corner

PHILIPSBURG – State police at Philipsburg are continuing their investigation into a burglary incident that occurred Saturday at Conklin’s Corner in Philipsburg Borough.

According to the report, two actors entered the business at 8:24 p.m. Once inside they allegedly removed currency from two display cases and fled the scene towards Philipsburg.

The actors allegedly removed items, including but not limited to a certified $1,000 bill; North Africa notes; large-sized Civil War era notes; a 15 cent note; National Bank notes; a John F. Kennedy gold commemorative coin; 50-60 gold and silver certified coins; and various gold and silver bullion (coins), state police said.
