Grace L. McKeown, 96, of Ramey died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015 at the Clearfield Penn Highlands Hospital.
Born June 12, 1918 in Utahville, she was the daughter of the late Llewellyn and Lillian (Delozier) Nevling.
She graduated in 1936 from the Beccaria Township High School. She formerly worked at the JBC Sewing Factory in Madera and the Dixie Theatre in Coalport.
She was a member of the Madera Methodist Church.
She was married at the Clearfield United Methodist Church in 1940 to the late Joseph L. McKeown.
She is survived by two daughters, Lola E. (John Jr.) Bacher of Beulah and Brenda L. Warholic of Kennedy, NY and four grandchildren, John (Kate) Bacher III, Greg (Paula) Bacher Sr., Lisa (Kevin) Saff and Jackie (Bruce) Olson.
She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Lillyann Saupp of Silver Springs, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Hawkins; six brothers, Gordan Nevling, Clifton Nevling, Richard Nevling, John Nevling, Llewellyn Nevling and Curtis Nevling; and a son-in-law, Michael Warholic.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Kruise Funeral Home Inc., Ramey.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Ford officiating. Burial will follow in Beulah Cemetery, Ramey.
