Clara R. Letrick, 99, of Philipsburg died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015 at her home.

Born March 23, 1915 in Osceola Mills, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Verona (Marciniak) Wilson.  She married Emil Letrick on Nov. 14, 1935 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Osceola Mills and who preceded her in death on June 5, 1974.

Mrs. Letrick was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Osceola Mills. She was a member of the Rosary Society of the church.

She was also a member of the Osceola Mills Women’s Civic Club, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Osceola Mills and the Osceola Mills Community Historical Foundation.

She was retired from the Ford Motor Company as a production worker and seamstress in Michigan.

Following her husband’s death, she moved to Burbank, Calif. and spent 25 years with family members there. In 2001, she returned to Pennsylvania to spend her remaining years with close family members in this area.

She loved to cook and bake for her family and traveled to many states and countries.  She was an elegant and caring lady who made friends wherever she went.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son Ronald Letrick and his wife, Barbara; four sisters, Eva Wilson, Helen Wilson, Mary Malicki and Ruth Costanzo; and seven brothers, Joseph, Edward, William, Raymond, Francis, Thomas and Jack Wilson.

Mrs. Letrick is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their families.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills with the Rev. Father Robert Horgas officiating.  Burial will be at the St. Joseph Cemetery in Osceola Mills.

Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Sunday at the Heath Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Osceola Mills.

A memorial service will be held by the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday.
