COOPER TOWNSHIP – The cause of a Friday night structure fire at 162 Carter Ln., Cooper Township, is still undetermined at this time, reported the state police at Clearfield.
The Winburne Fire Department and multiple mutual aid companies were dispatched to the fire. Also, the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal Unit was requested to investigate the origin and cause of the fire.
According to state police, the home was almost completely destroyed by the fire. Damages were estimated at $130,000; the investigation is pending at this time, state police said.
