Brandon M. Jones, 28, of Morrisdale died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014 at his residence. Born April 30, 1986 in Philipsburg, he was the son of the late Michael Jones and Judy Dobo and her companion, John Starick of Morrisdale.
Mr. Jones was a 2004 graduate of the West Branch Area High School. He was a mechanic by trade. Mr. Jones enjoyed four-wheeling, hunting and fishing; he was an Ohio State football fan.
He’s survived by his paternal grandparents, Richard and Beverly Jones of Kylertown; his paternal great-grandmother, Alberta Page of Kylertown; and his maternal grandmother, Shirley Dobo of Hawk Run.
He’s also survived by his aunt, Kristen Jones and an aunt Denise Dobo; his uncles, Larry Dobo and his companion, Mondie Cunningham, Jim Dobo, Richard Jones Jr., Benjamin Jones and his wife, Heather; several great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins; and his beloved dog, Jake.
In addition to his father, Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather and his paternal great-grandfather.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Strange & Weaver Funeral Home, Morrisdale, with the Lay Minister Martha Bloom officiating. Burial will be in the St. Agnes Roman Catholic Cemetery, Morrisdale.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of services at the funeral home.
