DUBOIS – The Downtown DuBois Revitalization Group (DDRG) has announced its neighborhood Christmas decorating awards.
Pictured is the home of Gordon Cutlip of Bush Court in DuBois. He was recognized for his home with the “Most Christmas Spirit.”
Other homes acknowledged were “Simple and Elegant,” Dean and Nancy Stephens of 314 Knarr St.; “Santa’s Express,” Christine Kline of 539 Chestnut St.; “Shadow Reindeer,” Bev and Tom Kurtz of 504 Rainbow Ct.; and “The Beautiful Door,” Ann and Joe Hummer of 218 E. Scribner Ave.
The awards are a part of the DDRG’s Beautification Committee and its acknowledgement of those who maintain and beautify their homes. According to organizers, area clean-ups, awards and projects have enhanced the look and feel of both the residential and commercial areas of downtown DuBois.
