GANT Announces Partnership with CNN to Broaden, Increase News Content

CLEARFIELD – GANT Media LLC today announced its partnership with CNN, which offers a digital network that’s consistently the No. 1 current events and news destination on the web and the world’s most extensively utilized news service.

Under the news partnership, GANT has become a CNN affiliate digital publisher. CNN’s News Source will supplement GANT’s local news with international, national, political, business (CNN Money) and A & E topics in order to both increase and broaden its available content.

GANT’s news partnership with CNN will provide world-class news to its readership. It will give GANT readership more news content, including video and photography, in one local destination.

GANT’s news partnership will also incorporate the CNN VAN, Video Affiliate Network. CNN Video will focus exclusively on broadcast news from trusted local providers and digital news wire services.

With the incorporation of the CNN VAN, GANT will have access to the video player used on CNN.com. This industry-leading video player offers HD, responsive design, recommendations, video galleries and more.

Video is expected to account for 69 percent of all consumer Internet traffic by 2017, according to research provided to GANT by CNN.
