CNB Promotes Johnson to VP/Wealth & Asset Management

CLEARFIELD – Joseph B. Bower Jr., president and chief executive officer of CNB Bank, recently announced the promotion of Eric A. Johnson, CTFA to the position of vice president/wealth & asset management.

In this position, Johnson is responsible for managing relationships with wealth and asset clients, trust administration, business development, estate planning and administration.

Johnson joined CNB Bank as member of the management training program in 2004.  Immediately following the intensive training program, he obtained a position in the bank’s wealth & asset management services division as trust administrator.

In 2010, Johnson was promoted to trust officer. In 2012, he was promoted to assistant vice president/wealth & asset management.

“We want to be the trusted advisor for all aspects of our client’s finances by taking the time to develop a thorough understanding of unique circumstances, financial goals, and objectives,” said Bower.

“Eric’s expertise in the area of wealth and asset management combined with his desire to assist his clients in finding the right products and services has led to this much deserved promotion.”

A native of Clearfield, Johnson graduated from the Clearfield Area High School in 2000. He received his Bachelor’s degree in economics from Allegheny College in 2004.  He continued his education and attained his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from St. Francis University in 2009.

In 2012, Johnson earned the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation from the Institute of Certified Bankers (ICB), a subsidiary of the American Bankers Association, in Washington, D.C.  In October, Johnson was named to Pennsylvania Business Central’s list of Foremost Under 40.

Johnson currently resides in Curwensville with his wife, Tracy and their children, Maci and Broc Heitsenrether, and Tucker and Grace Johnson.  He is a member of the St. John Lutheran Church of Clearfield, where he serves as treasurer.

Johnson is the Curwensville High School assistant varsity basketball coach. He volunteers for the annual King of the Mountain Bike Race to raise funds for the local Habitat for Humanity.
