Attorney Asks Judge to Reconsider Kenjora’s Sentence for Shooting Nurse

CLEARFIELD – The attorney for an Osceola Mills woman who shot her health care nurse is asking for her sentence to be reduced.

Marlene W. Kenjora, 71, 2637 Ashland Rd., Osceola Mills, was found guilty of criminal attempt/murder in the first degree, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and simple assault after a trial in September. She was sentenced in November to 12 to 24 years in state prison.

PA Gas Prices Fall 6.9 Cents

PENNSYLVANIA – Average retail gasoline prices in Pennsylvania have fallen 6.9 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.80 per gallon yesterday, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 5,269 gas outlets in Pennsylvania.

Suspect in Family Massacre Found Dead

Pennsylvania shooting suspect Bradley William Stone appears to have died from self-inflicted cutting wounds, in the center of his body, Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman told reporters Tuesday. Stone, a former Marine reservist, was wanted in the deaths of his ex-wife and five former in-laws.

Gaines Waives Murder Charges

CLEARFIELD – A 29-year-old Morrisdale man accused of murdering a San Diego, Calif. man, Ronald Bruce Ford, 40, in 2013 has waived his right to a preliminary hearing, according to online court documents from Magisterial District Judge Jerome Nevling’s office.

CLEARFIELD – A 55-year-old Morrisdale man, Timothy Lee Kephart, has been accused of stealing employee funds, announced Clearfield County District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr. today.

Trooper Jeffrey Walters of the Pennsylvania State Police, Bureau of Criminal Investigations – Organized Crime Task Force, has filed a criminal complaint against Kephart. He’s charged Kephart with 584 theft-related charges.
