PENFIELD – The Clearfield YMCA will host the “Freeze Your Gizzard 5K” during the annual Winter Family Festival at Parker Dam State Park at 10 a.m. Jan. 24.
Participants should wear their craziest hat or sports-inspired costume and trek though the frozen tundra while enjoying the beautiful wintry scenery.
Unique race awards will be given afterward.
Early registration is $10 and must be received by Jan. 16. All early registrants will receive a running scarf.
Late and race day registration is $15. Registration will be held from 8:45 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. at the beach house at Parker Dam.
