CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Area United Way Communities Campaign, which helps 24 local member agencies, has raised $218,181 of its $245,500 goal.
“We need your help to bring in the remaining $27,319, or unfortunately, we will have to decrease agency allocations,” stated Campaign Chair Mark Schultz. “Our volunteers are asking for your help in reaching out to help others of all ages.”
Campaign President Michele Fannin added, “The needs are greater and we want to stretch to meet those needs. Your donation will be used to provide the most effective and vital services necessary for strong and healthy communities in eastern, southern and central Clearfield County.
“Your gift ensures that the 24 human service agencies partnered with United Way can continue to assist people and offer support and guidance.” She said to contribute individuals can send a tax-deductible donation to Clearfield Area United Way, 18 N. Second St., P.O. Box 1430, Clearfield, PA 16830.
