CLEARFIELD – Effective Jan. 1, 2015, the oval at the front of the Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School will be changed to a no parking zone, according to Superintendent Terry Struble.
“With the number of events and the number of people in and out in the evenings, we have had a number of safety concerns due to parked cars,” explained Struble.
He said that attended vehicles will be permitted for drop-off and pick-up only. Parking and double row parking will not be permitted, however. “Likewise we will be asking that only those vehicles with handicap placards or plates park in the handicap parking areas,” he said.
Struble would like to thank everyone in advance for their cooperation. He said that signage will be posted as weather permits the district to do so.
