State police at Clearfield
- An incident of harassment occurred Wednesday at Spencer’s Body Shop in Grampian Borough. During the incident, a 35—year-old Grampian man allegedly engaged in a verbal and physical altercation with the victim. Charges are being filed through the district court, state police said.
- An incident of criminal mischief occurred Wednesday on Pinetop Road in Bradford Township. During the incident, someone allegedly damaged the rear windshield of the victim’s vehicle. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
State police at Philipsburg
- An incident of access device fraud occurred Dec. 8 at Wal-Mart in Chambersburg. During the incident, someone allegedly used the victim’s bank card information to make a fraudulent purchase. The incident remains under investigation at this time, state police said.
- An incident of theft occurred sometime between Dec. 10 and Dec. 15 at the Windy Hill Village in Rush Township. Further, the nursing home had received homemade items, including knitted tassel hats, to distribute to residents. Upon an internal investigation, it was found that two employees each allegedly took a knitted hat. The incident was re-opened by state police for additional investigation. It was noted by state police that both knitted hats were returned to Windy Hill Village.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an accident on the Old Erie Pike. No injuries were reported and the vehicle was towed from the scene, police said.
- Police checked the welfare of an individual on Morrison Road.
- Police received a report about lost, mislaid or stolen property.
- Police received a report about a woman who was reportedly riding her wheelchair in circles on South Second Street.
- Police received a report about a psychological emergency.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment by communications.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of theft by unlawful taking. The incident remains under investigation at this time, police said.
- Police received a report about an alleged domestic dispute at Edgewood. Upon arrival police handled the incident at the scene.
DuBois City
- Police received a report about a two-vehicle accident Tuesday at the intersection of North Brady Street and West Scribner Avenue. Upon arrival police found the operator of a Chevrolet sports utility vehicle traveled through a steady red light and impacted a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Both vehicles were towed from the scene, police said.
- Police received a report about an alleged burglary that occurred Monday in the 500 block of South Main Street. The victim told police that someone entered his residence and stole multiple items. The incident remains under investigation at this time, and anyone with information is asked to contact police.
- On Tuesday, police received a report about a male who was allegedly trying to gain access to a residence in the 600 block of Chestnut Avenue. Upon arrival police identified the male as Andrew Lenhart, 31, and determined he had a warrant out for his arrest. Lenhart was subsequently taken into custody and lodged at the Clearfield County Jail.
- While on patrol Wednesday, police observed the operator of a gray Scion commit multiple traffic violations. Police pulled over the vehicle on DuBois Street and found the operator to be intoxicated. The operator was subsequently placed under arrest for DUI, police said.
- On Wednesday, police received a report about an alleged burglary in progress in the 300 block of South Avenue. The victim told police he heard a noise in the kitchen; upon investigation he found two males wearing black. The victim stated when he pulled his handgun the males fled his residence towards the cemetery on top of South Avenue. Police searched the area with negative results; the incident remains under investigation at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
