Robert E. Kline, 73, of Falls Creek died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014 at the University of Pittsburgh of Medical Center Presbyterian.
Born March 22, 1941 in Ridgway, he was the son of the late Maylon and Oleta Kline.
In May of 1970, he married Romaine (Bateman) Shannon Kline. She survives.
Mr. Kline was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired as the owner and operator of ABC Glass in Erie (Wesleyville) after 20 years of service. After retirement he enjoyed part-time employment at Lowe’s Home Improvements in DuBois.
He was a member of the Tyrian-Commonwealth Lodge No. 362 Free & Accepted Masons in Erie. He was also very active in the Zem Zem Shriners in Erie, where he served as captain of the Zem Zem Legion of Honor.
He belonged to the Olympic Athletic Club and was a member of the James J. Patterson Post No. 813 VFW in DuBois.
He’s survived by a step-son, Kevin Shannon and his wife, Debra of DuBois and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his step-son, Kenneth Shannon.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home Inc. Funeral services will be private.
