Clearfield Music Students Prepare for “Experience the Arts” Concert

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School singers, conducted by the director of choral activity, Andrew Rothrock, are practicing their repertoire of seasonal songs in preparation for the upcoming 22nd annual “Experience the Arts” concert.

Family, friends and fans are invited to attend the concert scheduled for 7 p.m. Dec. 18 in the newly renovated CAJSHS auditorium. Admission to the event is a donation of canned goods or dry food items to the local food pantry.

Nearly all the students from the Clearfield music department will be participating in this annual event. The concert will also feature musical performances by other small choral and instrumental ensembles under the direction of the CAJSHS directors of instrumental music, Raymond Mandell and Steven Switala.

The concert performance will end with a special appearance by the Clearfield community concert band and CAJSHS alumni music members.  Other related arts will be featured outside the auditorium before the concert.

Gift basket raffle tickets will be sold prior to the concert.  Poinsettias will be given away throughout the evening.
