Shoppers from across the region can help make the holidays a little brighter this holiday season for sick and injured kids.
Children’s Miracle Network at Geisinger has announced that Giant Food Stores and Martin’s Food Markets are helping local sick and injured kids through their annual Holiday Candle icon campaign, taking place now through Dec. 6.
The funds raised by this event will help to provide pediatric equipment, programs and services at Janet Weis Children’s Hospital and throughout Geisinger Health System.
This year marks the 19th year Giant employees and customers have rallied to help Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital by donating $1 or more when they see the classic holiday candle icon at store registers.
