Obituary Notice: Robert G. Fauls

Robert G. Fauls, 80, of DuBois died Friday, Nov. 21, 2014 at Christ the King Manor. Born April 8, 1934 in DuBois, he was the son of the late Francis and Agnes (Hice) Fauls.

He served during the Korean War in the U.S. Marine Corps.

On May 25, 1954, he married Evelyn J. (Thomas) Fauls.  She survives.

Mr. Fauls retired from Rockwell International Manufacturing after 35 years of service.

He was a member of the St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church.  He was also a member of the IPS Club and the Olympic Athletic Club.  He took great pride in his family. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved by all that knew him.

He’s survived by his children, Thomas M. Fauls and his wife, Pamela of Pittsburgh, Robert W. Fauls of Reynoldsville,  Stephen P. Fauls of DuBois  and Cynthia A. Starr and her husband, Harold of Tulsa, Okla.; eight grandchildren, Nicole, Natalie, Kayla, Collin, Todd, Jesse, Kyle and Jocelyn; and one great-grandchild.

He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was preceded in death by 12 siblings, Fred, Francis, Edward, Joseph “Ace,” Clem, Foley, Thomas, Marie, Dorothy, Kathleen, Patty and an infant sister.

There will be no public visitation.

A memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at the St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.

Burial will be in the St. Catherine Cemetery.
