The CAUW board of directors and more than 75 volunteer campaigners announced that 82 percent, or $201,990, has been donated toward this year’s goal of $245,500.

Funds raised help the CAUW’s 24 local member agencies located throughout eastern, southern and central Clearfield County. “It’s never too late to donate to make a difference,” stated Campaign Chair Michele Fannin.

She added the CAUW hopes that companies and residents will mail a tax deductible donation to 18 N. Second St., P.O. Box 1430, Clearfield, PA 16830.

“We need and very much appreciate your help,” CAUW Board Member Martha Tylwalk stated.

More information about the CAUW is available by calling 814-765-6521 or going to clearfieldareaunitedway.org.

Individuals can also print off a Familywize free discount prescription card from the CAUW Web site, stated Tylwalk. She noted that area residents have saved more than $25,000 to date.
