Service members encouraged to share photos for Military Appreciation Day

The centerpiece of year-round military appreciation efforts at Penn State, the Penn State football game vs. Temple on Saturday (Nov. 15) will mark Military Appreciation Day at Beaver Stadium. Though thousands of active duty U.S. military personnel and veterans will be in attendance at the game, the University also wants to recognize the many more stationed around the world. Service members are encouraged to share photos of themselves in uniform, and if possible with Penn State gear, using the hashtag #PSUmilitary on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
