Paula M. Barrett, 58, of Falls Creek and formerly of Clearfield, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014 at her home.
She was born Sept. 17, 1956 in Clearfield, a daughter of Charles and Mary (Mullen) Zitzelberger of Clearfield.
She was employed at the Clearfield Cheese Company for many years and then had worked for the Penelec Power Plant in Shawville. She was also employed at the former George’s Tobacco Store, Clearfield.
It brought Mrs. Barrett great joy being a volunteer for the Make A Wish Foundation. She was also very involved with events at the Third Ward Fire Hall, Clearfield.
In addition to her parents, she’s survived by her husband, Dennis J. Barrett Sr., whom she wed May 29, 1985 in Clearfield.
She’s also survived by a sister, Helen Howell and her husband, Colin and their children; a brother, Charles F. Zitzelberger II and his wife, Leslie and their children; and two other siblings; a step-son, Dennis Barrett Jr. and his wife, Heather of Curwensville and one other step-son; and a step-granddaughter, Jade Barrett and her mother, Shelly Barrett.
Friends will be received from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield. A Christian Vigil Service will be held at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday with Fr. Matius Quimno officiating.
