DUBOIS – DuBois Area Senior High School International Thespian Society Troupe 6949 has announced the success of its annual food drive, “Trick or Treat So Kids Can Eat.”

Through collection of non-perishable food items in the school and during its production of  “Fall in Love: An Evening of One Acts,” the troupe was able to collect 539.75 pounds of food and $369 to donate to Helping Hands Food Pantry in Reynoldsville.

Trick or Treat So Kids Can Eat is a national program for ITS member schools to collect canned and dried foods for local food pantries. It gives drama students an opportunity to lend a helping hand in their communities.
