Wayne Parks, 55, of Drifting died Friday, Oct. 31, 2014 at his residence. Born May 9, 1959 in Philipsburg, he was the son of the late Nile Parks and Arlene Plubell Parks of Drifting.
He’s survived by two sisters, Nancy Hopkins and her husband, William of Morrisdale and Patricia Ann Frauver and her husband, Donald of Drifting and three brothers, David D. Parks of Baltimore, Md., Gary G. Parks and his companion, Leaone Crock of Snow Shoe and Ronald J. Parks and his wife, Janice of Selinsgrove.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clarence and Sarah Plubell and his paternal grandparents, John and Clara Parks.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Askey Cemetery, Moshannon, with the Pastor Earl R. Shawley officiating. Burial will be in the Askey Cemetery, Moshannon.
The Johnson Funeral, Grassflat, is serving the family.
