Police and LHU Clearfield Taking Stand Against Aggressive Driving

CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Borough and Lawrence Township police departments have joined together with Lock Haven University Clearfield campus in taking a stand against aggressive driving.

Police will focus their efforts through Nov. 22, targeting drivers that are driving aggressively.  More than 349 municipal police agencies and the Pennsylvania State Police are participating in an attempt to reduce the number of aggressive driving-related crashes, injuries and deaths on 474 roadways throughout the state.

Teaming up with LHU provides an outlook on student safety and their willingness to lower the number of aggressive driving crashes, police said.

LHU also has a table inside its main lobby that contains literature on aggressive driving and other related information.  The information offers students and others attending the facility the opportunity to gather knowledge of aggressive driving.
